Types of Savings Accounts

Share Savings Accounts

When you deposit $25 into your share account, you become a member entitled to all the services that COMTRUST Federal Credit Union offers. The share savings account pays competitive dividends using the daily balance method. The dividends are posted to your account at the end of each month. The dividend rate is determined monthly by the Board of Directors.

Club Accounts

Club accounts are designed to give COMTRUST Members a convenient way to save money for specific purposes.

Christmas Club
Ease the expense of Holiday spending by saving all year. The balance of your Christmas Club is transferred to your Savings Account by November 15th each year.

Vacation Club
Whether you’re planning a family vacation, romantic getaway or road trip with friends, start saving today. You’ll enjoy your travels more when they’re debt free.

Payroll Deduction makes saving even easier. Just have a few dollars deducted from your paycheck each payday and watch your Club account grow.

Money Market Accounts

The COMTRUST Federal Money Market account pays competitive dividends based on current money market rates. The dividends are posted to your account monthly. There is a $2,500 minimum balance requirement.

Individual Retirement Accounts

An IRA is a tax deferred savings plan designed to help you save money for retirement. The COMTRUST Federal IRA features competitive monthly dividends and no management fees.

Share Certificate Accounts

All Share Certificates are issued at the monthly rates prevailing at the time they are issued. There is a penalty for withdrawal prior to the Share Certificate maturity.

  • 6 mo. Certificate - $1,000 min.
  • 12 mo. Certificate - $1,000 min.
  • 18 mo. Certificate - $5,000 min.
  • 24 mo. Certificate - $5,000 min.
