COMTRUST Information for COVID19

 

Dear Comtrust Members,

As our country continues to deal with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, I want to assure you that our primary concern is the health and well-being of our members and our employees. Effective March 19th we suspended lobby activity at all Comtrust locations and now serve our membership in person through our drive-in windows. To my knowledge, we have not received any complaints, so THANK YOU MEMBERS, for your patience and understanding! 

We are fortunate that over 50% of our membership is already using many of our electronic services (Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Automated Telephone Banking, Bill Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, OnLine Loan Application, etc.), so the closing of CU lobbies has a minimal effect on them. We encourage you to sign up for any/all of these electronic services if you have not already done so.

We are providing financial counseling and assistance to members who have been laid off, or who have experienced reduced working hours at their place of employment. I want to also assure you that your Comtrust FCU continues to be financially strong, and that your hard-earned money is federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, a US Government Agency.

In closing, we will continue to monitor the “COVID-19 situation” and comply with any Corona related city, county, state or federal mandates. Stay well and safe!

What to do if you need Financial Assistance

As we have for nearly 85 years, COMTRUST is ready to assist our members through financial hardships. If members have difficulties with loan payments, please contact your local branch to discuss options available to help you manage your day-to-day finances. We will continue to monitor economic conditions and provide updates and additional assistance as needed.

What we are doing :

  • We've Increased the frequency and thoroughness of our cleaning schedules.
  • All meetings are being conducted electronically, and we've implemented social distancing guidelines.
  • Employees are being instructed to stay home and self isolate if they feel sick.

What can you do?

  • If you are not feeling well, have traveled outside the country in the past two weeks or otherwise have been exposed to COVID-19, please avoid visiting a branch.
  • Please remember that we have a variety of online, mobile, and electronic resources available for you to manage your accounts and access your funds without an in-person visit.
    • Drive-Thru Service at all of our branches

  • Beware of scams: Now more than ever we encourage you to be vigilant against scams, especially via phone and email. Unscrupulous people are trying to take advantage of the fear and uncertainty of the moment. To stay abreast of scams, visit the FTC's website (ie articles related to COVID-19 scams)
